CASA is a bi-monthly magazine born from an idea to explore London, Ontario and all its possibilities.
CASA aims to change the way people live in London giving them new perspectives and horizons, promoting local ventures, amazing projects, start-ups, and opportunities. They showcase everything new, tasty, trendy, and local in London. CASA tells you stories about local heroes and local businesses.
I was commissioned to create a brand identity and printed collateral with the aim of positioning the magazine for a global audience. A focus on local and showing the world what London, Ontario has to offer was the foundation for the brand direction. A combination of mapped city blocks and window facades is how the concept was brought to life. Differentiating it from the more established London was an obvious challenge, but overcome simply by incorporating the Ontario state initials (ON) into the name.
